Did you know that there are over 54 million people affected by disability in the United States?
Here at Barren Heights our goal is to love and encourage these families. We do this primarily by providing free weekend retreats and hosting community outreach events for families who have children with physical or developmental disabilities.
We seek to provide families of children with disabilies the loving and encouraging community they need to conquer the overwhelming struggles of daily life.
We offer families a unique opportunity to answer Jesus’ call to “serve one another through love” by serving together and investing in those who often feel defeated and alone.
The Community Center plays a vital role in helping fulfill our mission as it provides a safe gathering place for our men’s, women’s, couples, siblings, and family communities.
