This year’s Spring Campaign theme is “Refreshing Special Needs Families One Retreat at a Time”, and what’s more refreshing than lemonade in the summer?
We want to have a little fun and friendly competition this year as a way of welcoming our incredible new Executive Director, Ace Hubbard, and celebrating our beloved and newly dubbed Chief Operations Officer, Abbi Rose. So let’s have a Lemonade Showdown!
The game is simple: it’s Abbi vs Ace in a head-to-head battle to see who can raise the most money to help Barren Heights serve families of children with disabilities this summer. The winner gets the bragging rights. The competitor who raises the least (some might call them the loser, but we won’t!) gets the honor of dressing as a Sour Lemon at our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night on May 18th from 4–8 p.m. Oh! And we may or may not dump copious amounts of lemonade over her head at the conclusion of the night. You’ll have to be there to find out!
It’s gonna be fun! It’s gonna be silly! And it’s gonna raise a whole bunch of money to help us host free respite retreats this summer. Pick your player below, and give, give, give!
