It’s a showdown! Exec vs. Exec. Abbi vs. Ace! Who will win?
This year’s Spring Campaign theme is “Refreshing Special Needs Families One Retreat at a Time”, and what’s more refreshing than lemonade in the summer? We want to have a little fun and friendly competition this year as a way of welcoming our incredible new Executive Director, Ace Hubbard, and celebrating our beloved and newly dubbed Chief Operations Officer, Abbi Rose. So let’s have a Lemonade Showdown! The game is simple: it’s Abbi vs Ace in a head to head battle to see who can raise the most money to help Barren Heights serve families of children with disabilities this summer. The winner gets the bragging rights and our first ever (and possibly only) “Loving Lemon Award”! The competitor who raises the least gets the honor of hosting the 2026 Spring Campaign Lemonade Stand (Tuesday, May 19th) dressed in lemon garb, singing lemony limericks, and slinging lemonade in the name of Barren Heights. Oh! And we may or may not dump copious amounts of lemonade over her head and give you the opportunity to do the same with each cup of lemonade purchased!
It’s gonna be fun! It’s gonna be silly! And it’s gonna raise a whole bunch of money to help us host free respite retreats this summer! Pick your player below, and give, give, give!
How to Participate
- Choose a player (or both) and click their photo above
- Make a donation using the payment portal
- Watch the battle play out on our Facebook and Instagram
- Give again if your preferred player is losing/winning (you may want one to win so the other has to host the Lemonade Stand; we won’t judge!)
- Join us on Tuesday, May 19th for refreshing lemonade and a chance to dump lemonade on the Lemonade Stand host (location TBA)
