Want to support Barren Heights beyond Give For Good Louisville?
Give for Good Louisville—Louisville’s biggest day of generosity—is Thursday, September 12th, but it’s not the only way you can support Barren Heights. Find two more ways to help us offer free respite retreats and community-building events to special needs families below!
Annual Benefit Dinner
Barren Heights is in our 20th year, so we are throwing an Emerald Ball to celebrate! The theme is green if you know what we mean, so dress in head to toe emerald and celebrate 20 years of serving special needs families with us. You can support Barren Heights by attending the event, bidding on auction items, or becoming a Benefit Dinner sponsor. Bejewel, bedazzle, be generous to families of children with disabilities!
Leave a Legacy – Lodge Brick Fundraiser
Leave a legacy by purchasing a perosnalized brick to help fund our newest Retreat Center facility—the Lodge! A wonderful volunteer from our community, Heidi Pym, has offered to take on building a feature to highlight the Launch the Lodge bricks that have been/will be purchased and to provide a peaceful space of rest for our families for years to come. This space will also feature a wooden cross, much like the one that used to reside on the grounds near the sports courts. Orders will close on Monday, September 30th so construction can begin in late October.
Thank you in advance for your support and for continuing to make Barren Heights a place of loving, accepting, welcoming, and safe community for families of children with disabilities. We truly have the greatest supporters around! Make sure to watch our Facebook and Instagram leading up to Give For Good Louisville and on September 12th for some festive and fun content from our BH staff!
