We Surpassed Our Goal 🤯
🎉🍋 We Raised $23,271!!! 🍋🎉
Thanks to our generous community, we were able to reach and then squeeze on past our $20,000 goal. 🍋 In fact, we raised enough to send 29 families of children with disabilities on a weekend retreat this summer! There are no adequate words to describe our gratitude to our Barren Heights family for supporting us so we can in turn support special needs families. There truly is nothing like the Barren Heights community!

🍋 What About the Lemonade Showdown?🍋
Both Ace and Abbi were overwhelmed by the support they each received throughout the Lemonade Showdown. There were multiple times when the winner looked clear, and then suddenly, the tables turned! But in the end, the official winner of the 2026 Lemonade Showdown was…Team Abbi! 🎉🎉🎉
HOWEVER! That is not where this story ends. In the final hour, a generous donor came through to push us past the finish line of our Spring Campaign goal and to make a simple request. They wanted to see BOTH competitors get doused in lemonade. So of course, that’s exactly what happened. Thank you to all the donors who made this contest so rewarding, and of course to our incredible competitors for being such good sports and supporters of Barren Heights. Fun Fact: Close to half of all the donations made throughout the campaign (43% to be exact) were to the Lemonade Showdown. You all sure do love a competition!
