Leader: A family who has volunteered at multiple family retreats in the past. They are responsible for running the weekend and are expected to have children in their attending party (i.e. this role cannot simply be a couple).
Host: A family who will act as the primary “camp counselors” to assist alongside the leaders. They act as the hands and feet of the retreat.
Caretaker: The “gap fillers” of the retreat. This role is primarily reserved for young couples with no/very young children, empty nesters, individuals, etc.
Guest: A family who has a child or multiple children affected by intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. There is no restriction on that child’s age.
