Meet the Fain Family

Dealing with a range of disabilities, the Fains were introduced to Barren Heights in when they attended a retreat. As a single mom of five, plus a foster child, the weekend was a huge blessing.

Loretta really connected with first time volunteer, Jill, and they continued their friendship even after the weekend was over. Jill invited Loretta and the kids to the Southeast Familypalooza event. The Fains then attended church with the Frawleys!

Now, months later, the Fains continue to make the 58-mile trip to Southeast on Sundays. When they arrive, Jill helps each child find the class that meets their needs. At times, they arrive in their pajamas or with missing shoes, but they come to receive the love of Jill and the love of Jesus.
