“Our family just returned from one of the most life changing weekends at Barren Heights. The boys have looked froward to this Barren Heights trip for months. The love and acceptance our family received this weekend cannot be put into words. Seven families that started off as strangers left this weekend as friends and as ONE community. My boys were at peace and able to be free…free of therapy, doctors appointments, and judgment. They were able to just ‘BE.’ To see them laugh and play and have others want to love on them made me so happy we decided to go. They loved getting to go tubing, playing on the spray pad, and making s’mores.

I hope to be able to return one day and give back to another family the gift that our received this weekend. In our boys words…’when can we go back?’ I love how GOD places the right people in your life at just the right time, especially when you need them the most.”
